Organizations do not need to be nominated to apply.

Organizations must meet the following criteria to be considered for a grant:
- Based in the U.S., serving communities within the country,
- Categorized as a startup business from an underserved community
- Have programming serving Black girls and/or women
- Aligns with S.M.A.R.T. Pledge mission and pillars.
